TRI...... there is no TRI only do.

I have decided that I am going to compete in a Triathlon on May 21st. I am super excited!! And nervous. Cause I am not much of a swimmer. And running and I have not been the best of friends. Biking is what I love. But all of them together should be epic! Excited am I!!! This is so going to be moderately cold!!! Oh... and um. If you wanna cheer me on...I will not deny you the privilege.

I am also doing a Triathlon Relay, the biking portion. It is also gonna be epic. It is on the 11th of June. Just so you know. Cause I am so stoked. !!! .

Wallpaper? Smoke? A toilet!!

Zombie and her husband got a new house...
It is a glorious old wretch of a house...
It has 70's wallpaper that has taken ages and ages to take down off the walls...
It also reeks heavily of smoke because N. Carolina is the tobacco growing capital so smoking is actually still encouraged here...
...however
There next door neighbors have a toilet in their front yard...
Zombie wonders if Pajama Llama Day is a National holiday ...
... She also feels that this neighbor might just be an epic friend.

Okay, don't judge. This is still a rough draft. However, it holds everything I've been feeling as of late. Good luck with the symbolism and the metaphors. (Sorry... I'm an English Major...When do we ever directly say what we mean???) :)

THE WATCH

I hear a consistent ticking noise coming from somewhere nearby
I ignore the sound and keep typing, until it starts pounding
Louder and louder the ticking seems to get. I turn away and sigh
I go on with my business until the noise has me drowning

Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock; will it ever stop?
I frantically search the room looking for the source
Rummaging through this, throwing that, then plop
A watch falls out of the mess in my hands; of course!

I pick up the annoyance and stare blankly at it
How can something so small annoy me as much as this!
I see myself reflected back at me within the face of it
I pause a moment as my mind wanders to things I missed

The watch was laden with Gold
Each number perfectly designed
I touched it, the metal so cold
It mesmerized me into a bind

The perfect hands pointed to midnight
Did it really get that late?
Staring at it came a trick of the light
I noted the particular date

A man reflected behind me
Within the face of the watch
Though he really didn’t see me
His deep red eyes I caught

Shaking my head I moved across to my desk, putting the watch away
Brushing off the disturbance, I returned to my work at hand
Yet my mind flicked back to the drawer that held everything at bay
Ignoring, typing, thinking… Oh! Devil watch, how much more can I stand?

My mind rushes back to the image of the man reflected within that clock
I faintly hear the ticking, deafened by the dark black drawer behind me
I have so much work to do I don’t have time to stare at a stupid watch!
In my heart something impels me, the pulse of the ticking I can almost see

Once more I try to ignore the rudeness of such an irritating device
I persist in calculating numbers, planning lessons, and writing letters
Steadily I toil to the tick tock tick tock tick tock that puts me in a vice
Working to the sound of the watch, daydreaming, the image blurs

Throwing aside my work, I ran
To the drawer, and the ticking again
Once more I held the watch in my hand
I cannot win! I stood pouring over it again

I noticed the band that it was pure white
Yet spotted in parts with specks of black
The watch was ideal, an immaculate sight
Yet something about it set me back

A vague-looking heart in a crimson red
Tainted the inside of a beautiful band
My senses heightened, I sit on my bed
Studying it, I find the expensive brand

I look at my reflection again in its face
The man is no longer staring behind me
Yet something else has taken his place
Towering there an immense red building

A tear slow and gentle fell upon the jewelry in hand
Which rolled softly off its face, onto its lovely band
Clutching tightly to the watch I brought myself to stand
And threw it back onto the bed, where it would safely land

A fear came tumbling over me, crashing all my thoughts
Waves of emotion had empowered me, staring at that clock
The red bedspread had cradled me while I was deep in thought
I hadn’t noticed the watch stopped ticking at exactly one o’clock

Love, Harry Potter and Math?!?! YES!

I am so happy that dreams are started to be posted on here like crazy. I have a super cool dream that I feel the need to share. I am sharing this especially for Zombie. But...this for sure applies to everyone else cuz we're all pretty rockin. So. Background: The word Flive. It has one meaning as far as we all know. Well...my dream revealed two other definitions to this amazing word. I wish I could remember all the parts to the dream, but I don't, so that's kinda sorta a bummer of sorts. Anyways, the conclusion of my dream stated that Flive has 3 applications #1 Love (this is the definition we all know) #2 Math (yeah...weird) #3 Harry Potter (kinda off the wall) The bummer part is the fact that I can't remember the exact definitions or even how this all came out about in my dream. I'm pretty sure that Flive in Harry Potter has to do with a definition similar to being a muggle. Math...well...I don't remember at all. There ya go. Flive now has 3 definitions. Happy Day! -Love to all and everyone and some more. -From, Dish Towel p.s. If I happen to remember the exact meanings...I will post an update. The End.

A dream above all dreams that MUST be shared...

Zombie has strange dreams. Some are EPIC . Read on my friend.

Once upon a time Harry Potter was having the birthday party of the century. It was going to be HUGE it was going to be EPIC and the entire wizarding community coveted invitation to this glorious event. So naturally he invited Zombie to attend. It was being held at hogwarts of course and she was so EXCITED. The best part of this shin dig was that Harry Potter had booked the backstreet boys to perform at his party. She made sure she had front row seats to the live concert as well because Harry Potter and Zombie were tight yo. Anyhow, at the party as the backstreet boys were in the middle of their concert Voldemort decided it would be a grand time to ruin Harry Potters life and crash the party. He is about to kill Harry Potter leaving the world and wizarding community in total devastation BUT DO NOT FEAR .... The spice girls come in with spectacular girl power and kick voldemortes BUTT!!!

Then Zombie wakes up....
Oh yeah .... EPIC!

I dedicate this to you...

I like music. I listen to music... because I like it. And when I am listening to said music I am often reminded of one of you. I smile as you flash through my mind, and then never tell you. So I am going to tell you. And you can imagine me smiling.

Just because I am only sharing one with you does not mean that there are not more, because there are. I am only sharing the one that means the most to me in my brain. There is a meaning behind each of these songs. And a story. That is why they were dedicated. Cause of a story.

To Lunch Pale: There was really only one that stood out and jumped up and down saying pick me pick me. New Perspective by Panic at the Disco.

To Zombie: As with Lunch Pale, there was really only one song that was epic enough for me to dedicate it to you. In my mind. Zombie by The Cranberries.

To Dishtowl: For you there was lots. Because there just is. I have a hard time choosing just one for you but I will. But I am also gonna mention honorable mentions. Because I can. The song I chose is Rainbow Veins by Owl City. Honorable mentions: Leave by Jojo.(I could not decide between Rainbow Veins or Leave. They were so close. Just saying.) Light up the Sky by Yellowcard. Annie by Safteysuit. Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin. Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Just so you Know by Jesse McCartney. And any song ever by Owl City.

To Spooner: There was also a few for you that I had a hard time choosing but interesting enough they were all by two people. I hope you know which two of I am thinking because you will after you read which I dedicated to you. Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus. Honorable mentions: Just that Girl by Drew Seeley. (This is the only one that was not by 'those two' so I decided to mention this one.) Do you know who the second is?

To Love Dove. Yours was harder because we did not listen to music much together or discussed it much. But this one is cause. Well. It's cause. ;D Cooler Than Me by Mike Prosner.

To Sponge. Yours was also harder but not impossible. Since You've Been Gone by Kelley Clarkson.

I love you all! Cause what's not to love!

I made it!!!

Okay, okay okay.... I'm still alive, I promise!!! So.... Life in the Igloo town is pretty good. Life as a cheerleader is even better! That's right. Cheerleading. I made the Spirit Team! Can I get WHOO-RAW??? WHOO!!!! RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So today was the first day of scariness and of glory! I'm referring to my first basketball game as a University Cheerleader. Boy was that nerve racking! Luckily mum and pops came up for my b-day weekend and were there for support. GOOD NEWS!!! Our routine was sick! Awesome! Wicked! Thrilling! Exciting! And pretty much AMAZING! Yeah, we pulled that together in 2 days. CRAZINESS! We had flying girls, tumbling girls, buff guys, jumping girls, dancing girls, and running guys and girls. It turned out GREAT...AND my heart didn't stop like I thought it might. LOL. Glory Night! Cheerleading is a TON of work though, I'm not gonna lie. Stunts take muscle and with dancing, a TON of endurance! Yikes. :P Tonight made it feel like the last three weeks of constant training, tryouts, and cramming for cheers all worth it. The crowd went wild!!! :) (Small crowd, but clearly there to see the cheerleaders...lol.)
As for the rest of life. Confusing. Hard. Busy. Confusing. Stressful. Sleepless. Confusing. Emotional. Tough. Confusing. Yes, that about sums it up. It's funny how I only know cheer guys up here and they're all hitched. But my guys friends from all around the states are keeping in contact with me. One came all the way up to Idaho, flowers in hand. Well, that was a big unexpected surprise! I needed the break, and we had lots of fun. Yeah for creative Mikes willing to go the distance! LOL. :D Pretty much the best birthday present ever!
Well, I have mountains of homework and I need sleep sometime this year. So I'm signing off with that. I hope that rests your dear hearts to know I'm still alive and kicking. LOL (No pun intended.) Fare thee well until the next time we read or write. Loves to all! BUNCHES of hugs! I miss my Roomies! Yours Truely... the one year older, not much wiser, Spooner :)
